Fucking Good Art (best students hungry dirty lesson) was born from a simple, convivial gesture: a lunch.
On September 6, 2025, U-Art-P invited Marco Cingolani – the Professor – and twelve of his former students from the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Turin and the Accademia di Brera in Milan to gather around a table at the association’s headquarters, The Place in Bergamo.

Between dishes, notes, and memories, the conversation turned into a collective lesson on painting, irony, memory, and the shared work that shapes artistic growth.

As Manuela Parrino writes in the exhibition catalogue: “More than a table, it felt like a small laboratory balanced between crumbs and sketches. Art never stops, not even at the table.”

From that encounter grew the exhibition, curated by Antonio Grulli in collaboration with Manuela Parrino, featuring works by Marco Cingolani and twelve of his students: Andrea Mastrovito, Eleonora Mariani, Emilio Gola, Erik Saglia, Ermanno Brosio, Gabriele Napoli, Giorgio Bernasconi, Marco Paleari, Marco Pio Mucci, Martina Cassatella, Roberto De Pinto, and Vittoria Stoian.

The project reflects on the value of transmission, community, and artistic practice as a collective act.
As Antonio Grulli writes, “Every artist to emerge from his studio is different from all the others. Cingolani manages to draw from each one a vision of art that corresponds to a soul.”

Fucking Good Art thus tells the story of a living dialogue between master and students, between generations and languages — where painting once again becomes a way of being together, questioning, and growing.
